As I posted a while back, three 2-disc DVD sets of Miyazaki anime films are due next month, after a very long dry spell.

Amazon is releasing "Spirited Away" in a 2-disc set April 15. Also being released at the same time are "Castle in the Sky" and "Kiki's Delivery Service," both also in 2-disc sets. If Disney keeps turning the Miyazaki material out like this, I will forgive them everything.

I saw "Spirited Away" twice in theaters here. It was released in some theaters with the dubbing, and in other art theaters with the subtitles.

UK Anime Net reports that other movies may be scheduled for release later this year and next year, including:

Pom Poko
Whisper of the Heart
Only Yesterday
Porco Rosso
My Neighbour Totoro (avoid the current release)
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (hot damn!)

All things come to those who wait.
