The most amazing thing was to have been able to shift the attention from Bin Laden to Saddam Hussein, to the point of using the argument that OBL is still alive (inspite of promising to bring him to justice) to demonstrate a connection between Al Qaeda and Iraq, connection that never was convincing enough for the rest of the world.
Besides, families of the 911 victims went to Iraq to show their understanding of what the iraqi people were going through.
I'm afraid the neocons are going after a plan to stop Iraq's regime using questionable means to do it.
