Happy 20th Anniversary, the "wireless" cellular-telephone.
Twenty-years-ago this month there
was only one portable "wireless" cellular-phone in existence.
It was made by a team working under Rudy Krolopp for Motorola, Inc...They made
the DynaTAC 8000X cellular-system,
the world's first wireless cellphone.
You young ones probably are scratching your heads, wondering, how 'old(er) folks' like myself did without them?
Easily!..We used the payphone down the block.
Seriously though! Happy 20th anniversary cellphone!
