Things just aren't as dour here in the US.
Last week I had an emergency dentist appointment because I had two teeth literally crumble - old fillings. I need crowns. Expensive. Not a happy camper.
Went to the dentist for a previously tooth cleaning today.
Hygenist is cleaning away and she says "Uh oh, looks like you've got a major new cracked tooth!" Guess you gotta be a dentist to see the humor there.

Also, lots of fun and games with a large, fake rubber fly.

Besides, the sudden announcement of the Saddam news conference, awaited breathlessly by the mediots wasn't enough of an April's Fools joke for you?
