Re: Academic papers on the Simpsons
I thought it was a pretty good read. It was well written and very well documented. I see no reason why it couldn't be accepted as a college paper.
The main point (I thought) was that the Simpson's purpose seems to be to drag stereotypes out into broad daylight through the use of humor. What has more stereotypes than religion? Of course the show isn't just about religion, but this paper was.
