We present the findings of Brad Templeton, chairman of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, who claims [May 3] is the 25th anniversary of the sending of the first SPAM, or unsolicited ad, online. It was sent by a man working for Digital Equipment Corporation to his West Coast customers.
