But I thought this was funny.
Oh, that reminds me. Our pastor told a joke during the sermon that struck me a lot funnier than it probably should have:
A guy goes down to the docks to hire someone to take him fishing. An old fisherman is sitting in a boat, and agrees to take the guy out.
They row to a nice spot in the lake, and the guy notices the old fisherman has no rod and reel, just a tacklebox and a big net.
The old fisherman opens the tacklebox, pulls out a stick of dynamite, and lights it. He holds it for a second, then tosses it into the water. There's a huge explosion. The old fisherman picks up the net and begins hauling stunned fish into the boat.
The guy whips out a badge, and says, "Aha! I'm the game warder, and you're under arrest!"
The old fisherman opens the tacklebox, pulls out a stick of dynamite, and lights it. He holds it for a second, then hands it to the game warden.
He says, "Well? Are you going to just sit there, or are you going to fish?"
Yet more Star Trek sneaks around the edges...
