Overkill
To me it all sounds like a lot like writing important tactical messages on 16-inch battleship shells and firing them to communicate across great distances.
Or planting two megaton nuclear landmines on a city highway bridge you are trying to keep enemy tanks from crossing.
There's got to be a better way to get the job done.
