Thanks, Justin!
Thanks, Robert!
Thanks, Dan!
I remember when it was MSNBC BBS.
[Man! Five-six years already?]
And that 'other' website got cluttered
with conspiracy theory and wacko
or misunderstood anomoly subjects.
But, thanks to habitablezone.com we've
been mercifully spared trying to argue facts to those who refuse them.
[Remember, james?]
Anyways! Speaking of anomolies,
today, coming back to mainland North
America from Newfoundland I can relate how deceiving some of that anomolous info is [eyewitness accounts, etc].
Consider all those so-called 'reliable' eyewitness accounts of 'sea-monsters' over the past 200-years.
Gazing out over the North Atlantic
from the decks of a sea-ferry, more than 50 nautical miles away
from land, the play of sunlight, shadow
and surging 1-2ft swells and breaking waves plays tricks on your sight.
You actually think that you've seen/saw a couple of giant black eels, or whatever, briefly
break the surface when in fact it's nothing more than sea-water, shadow, light, motion and eyes straining at the
monotonous oceanic view.
I'm back on the mainland!
Jacob
