The ripple effect of the flood
-I am just now getting the dsl service back up at the house.
-I-10, under the weight of that water for two days, is buckling apart in places. Ditto for other freeways and intersttes in the area.
-Hospitals are operating under huge stress, and the open ones are over-crowded. Surgeries are being put off.
-At least some blood banks have been destroyed.
-Compuer networks for banking transactions are down.
-cell phone networks are spotty at best.
_we as a city are coming together like never before.
