NTV

Actually I was being rhetorical when I asked. I am interested in others opinion of NTV. I have had access to it through DirecTV plus, for 3 or 4 months now. My opinion is, and this is being kind, it could stand a great deal of improvement. Like Justin said, it can put you to sleep pretty fast if they aren't showing a launch or flight in progress. They have an ISS daily report at 10 CDT weekdays, but a lot of that is dead air with a view of the mission control room. Sometimes they will show live video from the ISS but it is kind of sparse. It's amazing how many times they repeat themselves. If you miss something, just wait around a few minutes and it will be repeated verbatim. However it is worth it just to get the Shuttle launches. They will repeat them from many different viewpoints. They also show most other NASA launches. They plan to show the launch of the "MAP" spacecraft on June 30th. I much prefer it on live TV than the Internet streaming video. Of course that could be because my computer is kind of old and out dated.
