its now in more of a BBS format where you click on someones name and you get the picture and bio etc. . . It has its own backdrop. whereas the flame board has the sun, space baord has a habitable looking planet (eath, but could be any planet for that matter), the album page has (Drum roll. . . . ) The Pillars of Creation - that famous photograph of the eagle nebula captured by the HST. ITs picturesque nature goes well with the album page.

I updated Toms bio to his specifications, I Updated mine because it was old and refered to this board as the afterhours.cc board (oops!), and Dan, so does yours!

Al has made an announcement some time ago that come July 31st http://Afterhours.cc will bow out (the announcement is on the frontpage there). He also made the announcement on the current events and off topic boards. I wish Al luck with his future endevours, especially computers.biz <g>

At the request of several board regulers, Habitablezone.com will take on an offtopic board as well as a Current Event's in their place. Some people have requested that I include something similar to the 'chosen ones' BBS, but I have not made the decision yet, I am leaning towards 'no' at this time.

P.S.
For the off tpic board I am torn between using the reflection nebula (nebula->nebulous->wide spanning of topics) and jupiter (catch all of the solar system, clears up all the junk).

Current events I am thinking of a good globe picture, probably something from a weather satellite.
