A lot of people are going to fiddle with this for a long time.

Maybe somebody will come up with a different option that doesn't need any of this tweaking.

The universe is here, it's demonstrably been here for billions of years, and everything seems to work reasonably well. Especially us.

I'm cool with that.

Frankly, I don't think God would regard the specific technology and timeline of creation as the most important factor in the relationship between himself and humanity.
