<I've got a question, why is it that the sci-guys that explore the universe say "only
a non-war species would be able to do space travle" or something like that... @_@
humans are exploring space... @_@ we are a war world...
Hi, Jocelyn! :)
The sci-guys and even sociologists may say that because, judging from history, humans have put a lot of time, energy and $$$$'s in engaging war AND in being defensive of one. The globe seems to be calmer now... most of the land has been claimed. Although conflicts --civil wars-- still exist, there are nations that are willing and able to come together and concentrate on space-of-the-outer-kind-issues.
Notice though that those nations are more defensive by nature than offensive.
Not all arguments lead to war and they shouldn't. Did you see the movie, Castaway, with Tom Hanks? Tom, in order not to go crazy from being alone, came up with a make-believe-friend (whose soul lived in a Wilson ball(lol)) to talk to, argue with, hate, love and even tries to save.
Ok, now I'm reaching for a way to close this post. :) May the good guys survive and continue to lead the way (there we go).
Best,
Marcia
*Late to post, but I couldn't before. Overall it looks and feels great Justin and Robert. Nice, fitting pic at the album page too. :)
Background stars are calming. *g*
