Space/Science » in reply to When will you stop quoting people out of context?

The Context IS

You keep claiming we already have the technology. Your own source contradicts you as others have on many other occasions. You only remember what you want to, not what contradicts you.

You also seem confused as to exactly how much time and effort it takes to develop new technology. This is somehow always hard in your mind when it relates to Martian exploration, but a piece of cake if it involves going to the Moon or diverting potential impactors. That is just plain silly. The technology is the same in many respects. When you realize that maybe you'll finally see how supporting any part of the space program helps support others and why it is self defeating to to try and tear down any program with public support in order to divert funds to other programs. We should be building support for all space programs with potential public support.

Spouting off easily contradicted bogus statistics also undermines your cause by giving you the credibility of a used car salesman.

Mark
