Justin,
I'm running Netscape Navigator Version 4.72 on a Linux kernel version 2.2.16 through the X-Windows server Fvwm2.
I follow the CERT recommended security procedure of having all Java functions turned off on my browser. I also normally have the Style Sheets turned off. I strongly recommend to others who are concerned about Internet security and privacy to have the Java functions on their browser turned off. It's also a good idea to periodicly (every other week) delete the cookie file, the history files and do an "rm -rf" on the cache directory.
Because of my security paranoia, I seem to have lost considerable functionality with your (Habitablezone) website. If I access one of the posts, all I see is a white frame. I can make the letters appear by running the cursor across the text with the mouse button depressed. I tried activating the Style Sheets and that had no effect. I then activated Java and the website then took on a totally different character with full functionality. Even though I am guilty of being paranoid, your website should be functional without requiring Java (It should have downward compatibility to CGI accessing vanilla HTML). It is fair to say that as it currently stands the website is broken. Sorry about the bad news.
