Alternative cosmologies...

We've all heard of the Anthropic Argument approach to cosmological problems - if this or that cosmic parameter was a bit different then we wouldn't be here.
But what AA researchers miss is the possibility of alternative cosmologies that adjust several parameters at once [which seems more likely anyway] and produce Universes that aren't incompatible with life...

Some of which are quite a mind stretch - stars forming very early in the Universe, much higher densities and more "metals" in the first generation of stars. Very cool.
