I am definitely coming to Houston this August.
The conference is Mon-Fri, 6-10 Aug and pretty full-on - the evenings are mostly committed and any that aren't I will probably need to flake out early.
I don't have my itinerary in front of me, but from memory I fly into Houston on Sunday 5th and leave on Sunday 12th, so there's scope for a visit.
