Interesting meeting of five space agencies in St. Hubert, Quebec.
It seems that NASA, RKA, NASDA, ESA
and the CSA have agreed upon the terms
of allowing nonastronauts and 'amateurs'
to board the ISS in the future, considering the stink made over Dennis
Tito months ago.
Put it in simple terms, the gist is...
NASA (and the others) have come to the realization that "amateurs" (private citizens, paying passengers, etc) will visit the ISS in the future. They have
accepted this as fait de accompli.
FINALLY! FINALLY! FINALLY!
See? Even stodgy, hidebound bureaucrats
can eventually "see the light".
You know what? I have finally come around to forgiving NASA.
cheers.
