Given the sort of loons who regularly post at MSNBC, one should first assume it is some random guy using Oberg's name. Has anyone checked the address used on the MSNBC posts versus known Oberg posts?

If it is Oberg then he's wasting his time talking to screwballs. He should be directed to this BBS.
