Bummer
Three years ago, I resumed flying after a layoff of over 16 years. The plane I flew most often for the first year was N733BW, a late 70's vintage Cessna 172. Today, an Air Force 2nd Lt. student pilot crashed the plane while making a landing at Meadowlake Airport (00V). It appears he stalled while landing. If true, it meant he was flying with his head firmly up his rear. He survived with some head injuries (apparently not too severe) but the plane may never fly again. I had 16 hours in that plane. It was a good machine. I hope the pilot recovers and maybe the plane can be repaired.
