Weird Correlation...
Hi Guys
Since the discovery of 47 Ursa Minor C people have been commenting on the strange coincidence between masses and orbits for the two planets, and Jupiter and Saturn. First the ratio of orbits is the same, and so is the ratio of the masses.
Comparing the ice moons of Jupiter (Ganymede and Callisto) and the larger moons of Saturn [Titan, I suspect, is a captured sub-planet, just like Triton is to Neptune], their average diameters are also in a similar ratio: 5000 km/ 1500 km ~ 3.33.
Perhaps there's something here that needs a bit more investigation.
Adam
