<Recently, I went to see PLanet of the Apes....And felt it was interesting until the end. Why doesn't he decide to stay with the beautiful Estella Warren ? I have a poster of her right next to the bed, so...
yes I liked the movie very much, but thought his decision at the end was stupid beyond beleif. ( I say it about amonth ago, how long has it ben out over there Raoul?)
And the next day, I went to see Final Fantasy and found the movie much better! Now, at least, it shouldn't be impossible anymore to have characters perform in weightlessness! It's as easy to produce as the rest of the movie! Well, when I say "character", they are only virtual.
Final fantasy I saw even before PoA, and I really liked it from the graphical context, rendering in shadows and rendering sweat is nearly indistinguishable from real life, but they still need more work on syncing the mouth movements.
as for the characters I didn't like the stereotypical gung ho "lets just blow everything witht he hercules/vulcan /whatever satellite cannon" personality they put with the general. That stereotype is overused, and was used to unrealistic/unbeleiveable levels in this movie.
then again after the spirits and earth and alien gaia stuff, would I really have much of a leg to stand on with regards to complaining about realism? ;-)
