Nanotech investor perspective

Is nanotech mired in the "grey goo of nanohype"? Will it be perceived as simply hype for the next craze to follow the dot com fiasco? Red Herring is an investment industry newsletter. BTW, these big money guys have NO INTEREST, not the slightest, in space investments. I do think that big bucks will be made (and lost) on nanotech/biotech this decade. Kinda a wimpy prediction of the obvious though.
