It would be a shame for the MArs Society to be kileld by outside forces. It would be a shame for the Mars Society to survive if it's rotten on the inside, as that accomplishes nothing but inhibiting alternate, more capable organizations.

I suggest you amend that to include "poor engineer" as well. He's just not good with real-world stuff... be they machines or people. But as a rabble rouser, he's top-notch.
