Dear Raoul,
Yes, I've felt what everyone has as of late here, BUT, I will not let it get me down and I have faith that the good astronomers, scientists in and out of NASA will continue with the goals. It's too important
Regardless and even if Endeavour gets its refurbishing in 2003, the shuttles will still be flying before then (eh Kim). In that respect I don't see any reasonable reason why they can't continue THE JOB (so help them). I was never sure or really believed that ISS would achive it's goal in size as per the original design, which isn't be a bad thing monetary wise and I am among those that believe that ISS is needed (Mars sample return, etc....)
Even if I don't have hands on experience in this field, I won't loose faith. It's one of the things that keeps me going and I hope it's one of the main things that keeps those in the field going as well.
The skies is where the limits are. If there really are limits. (Thou knowest what I mean)
Clear skies and keep the faith, Raoul.
Marcia
