Space Interferometry Mission
<
I scanned this out of an article in the Richmond Times Dispatch. It was the forn tpage of the HEALTH&science section. Aparently U.Va is playing a big role in the Space interferometry mission scheduled to launch in 2009. Two dinner plate sized mirror will be used , they will be 33 feet apart, resolution wil lbe 10,000 time better than hubble. . . I guess thats pretty much it. . . not a hwole lot of interesting data in the article. . just though this was neet to bring up.
