Don't mean to imply Race or Rummel are dishonest. I simply meant they seemed to lack the personal control to tone down their anger and reply proffessionally and not try to paint their oponant as clueless when his comments in fact are largely supported by biologists. I can only assume based on an otherwise favorable impression of Rummel, that he has crossed words with Zubrin on this before and found Zubrin very irritating. I get the impression that Race also has interacted with Zubrin personally on this issue. All totally subjective educated guesswork on my part to be completely honest about it. Just my attempt to make sense out of intelligent people disagreeing so volubly over what seem to be minor differences of opinion to me.
