Lockheed Martin wins $145 million contract to build Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter
The MRO will be able to image Mars at a resolution of 20-30 centimeters when its science mission begins in late 2006. Here's an early prediction - the "Mars Face" crowd will still say the images are insufficient to disprove their claims and will keep referring to old overly-enhanced Viking images.
