Nomenclature Suggestion for PHAs
Potentially Hazardous Asteroids (PHAs) are being discovered on a continuing basis. My suggestion is that the IAU consider naming such after Osama bin Laden and the other terrorists resopnsible for September 11th. They could use the names of the 22 hosers on Bush's Most Wanted list. Should the IAU object and state that policy requires only naming asteroids after the deceased, I'm certain that US Special Forces will be happy to oblidge.
