"I Love Lucy" TV transmissions are now about 50 light-years distant.
On Oct/15th/1951, 50 years ago this
coming Monday, the first episode of "I Love Lucy" was televised.
Fifty years later, those TV signals
carrying that original episode of I.L.L.
are not only 50 light-yeas away, but
have passed about 800 stars in the process. Something worth pondering.
Incidently! NBC network, this year
is celebrating it's 75th anniversary this year, and perhaps someone out there, tuning in to those original NBC radio-transmissions, 75 light-years distant, probably thinks we probably speak like "Amos & Andy".
Hmmmm.
