Albert Ducrocq has died

Hello,
One of the most important french Mars Society member has died: Albert Ducrocq was aged 80.
Albert Ducrocq was a professor, specialist in cybernetics.
But, he became a journalist who informed us about science and especially the space program.
He was regularly invited to comment about a flight on the French radio Europe1.
That's when I started to know him.
He had an infectuous enthusiasm for space exploration and he consistently showed a huge knowledge in that field. He also wrote many books and was daily on the "Figaro", a well-known newspaper.
He edited for the Air et Cosmos magazine and made countless articles for
the magazine "Science et Avenir" and many others.
In 1991, I had the privilege to meet him in Antwerp and asked him several questions.
Then in 1996, I saw him again, in Paris, introducing Claudie Andre-Deshays who had just been back from space (and now, she is aboard ISS).
He must be at the origin of many space vocations! Probably, Pascal Lee knew
him too.
We will miss him.
May you rest in peace, Albert
