The moon: the final advertizing frontier?
I'm not the first to post this idea,
but would it be possible to aim powerful scanning lasers at the moon and create a giant, luminescent
commercial LOGO on its surface, visible to the naked eye?
There are plenty of negative things you can say about the idea, but what about some positive, as well?
Maybe it will bring about an increase in interest in astronomy?
