Re: Life on Jupiter? Maybe!
This is getting beyond my knowledge of how Jupiter is put together, but there are many microorganisms in the Earth's oceans that manage to stay at the level where they can survive without sinking to the ocean floor. Maybe this is done by, as alcaray says, reproducing fast enough to replace the "sinkers." I'm also getting beyond my knowledge of oceanography. It's possible that the Jovian atmosphere has too large a vertical movement to make this feasible. Definitely more info needed. Anyway, there's always Europa! To hell with the monolith! Let's attempt landings there!
