Does NASA need a bean counter?
After reading his resume it seems clear that O'Keefe is essentially a bean counter /accountant. Goldin has effectively hammered NASA into the ground. Digging the agency out and hosing it off would require either a tough military general or a hard nosed accountant. It'll be nasty spade work and not really appropriate for a high flier aeronautical engineer. I just hope after the agency has been cleaned up that they'll replace O'Keefe with a high flier so we can get people to Mars in my lifetime.
