Seems to back up what I've been saying about the Caspian Sea oil pipeline through Afghanistan. So we are to believe now that the american representative actually threatened the Taliban with military action - attempted coercion based on violence? This is highly disreputible. Was this Mr. Simons a democratically elected leader? If so he should be voted out. In fact I think he should be prosecuted - 'threatening' is illegal in Canada, although I don't know about US law.
