Re: Rendez-Vous with Rama

Fascinating Raoul...

The past, present and future are all linked and some folks can access bits and pieces subconsciously, even though the majority of their consciousness resonates in a linear rather than cyclic manner.

Imagine time as a bicycle wheel. When at any point... exists a moment - yet when it is laid flat it contacts all these points at once.

That other type of contact is outside the spectra we normally operate from - as we are in the wheel!

However, in an infinite relative universe - time in one spectra is linear but when it steps up and becomes cyclic - the next higher spectra is in contact with the entire loop.

Or here is another way of envisioning it....

Imagine a typical sine-wave. It is composed of another infinite number of smaller wave forms that make up its structure.

These wave forms can represent moments, days or years....

When you are only capable of interacting with the small waves - you are traveling in the greater wave but unaware of it. One's perspective is limited by bandwidth.

The greater wave however....can ACCESS ALL TIME AT ONCE!

Now it can only access ALL TIME that EXISTs in this LOWER bandwidth.

It CANNOT access its OWN stream - where IT is just one wave of an infinite number!!!!

So you see, time is RELATIVE. Time/Space as we live it here on earth and around our sun is accessible all at once from this higher adjoining spectra.

Now to make things more complicated...if any structure or wave interjects itself into this lower spectra where it is not normally oscillating - the time stream on this lower level is changed dramatically.

So in theory...while the future is predictable at any given moment from this higher spectra - there is also a wild card element which can change it.

This is why prognostication fails so often. The outside forces which would be tapped to predict the future often change it!

So 2077, may have been an actual date for some sort of disaster - in fact, it still may be. Or perhaps the 9-11 part was accurate and the rest was clear.

Fiction writers are often in contact with their subconscious and other parts which can unknowingly tap 'fiction' which is based in reality.

Thanks for pointing it out, Raoul.

Best wishes,
