Just got home from a visit with the family, to find out that the site's been down for a day. I'd fixed a problem with a paying site to show it off to the folks, and as a side effect broke the Zone. Zone's fixed, now I have to figure out a less destructive fix for the other site. Ahh, the joys of Web...

Ahh the joys of living in the mountains, too. I actually got home this afternoon, to find that a fierce windstorm had knocked out power and toppled an 80 foot pine tree across the driveway. I'm just now getting things patched back together. Anybody fly over the holidays? Took just 15 minutes to clear security at this end, five minutes on the other coming back. Felt kind of foolish showing up three hours early for my flight. The Guardsmen at the airport reminded me of a trip to Belfast many years ago. We live in weird times.
