Re: interesting Martian photo
I was hesitating to mention the idea of stromatolites but so many people did the same thing with white rock and other areas. Also the pole have shifted several times through Martian history and so this area was like sub polar at some some stage.
Also it's a nice piece of eye candy. :-)
