This thing has a zero turning radius
It can pivot in place, something no 3 wheeled scooter can do. It's narrow enough to fit up existing wheel chair ramps and was designed to be safe enough to mix with pedestrians on sidewalks. The purpose seems to be for quick trips in urban areas to run errands and such, not as a full replacement for a car.
That's not to say that it's a useful vehicle where I live, but I can see some people might find it very useful.
