The problem with the world today is that it's become too small. Up until very recently in human history, if a group of people didn't like the way things were run, their neighbors, or were pursecuted by the majority, they could pack up their belongings and move to an uninhabited corner of the globe and start anew. The entire Western Hemisphere was settled in this way by people wishing to create their own societies. There were always places to explore and settle. The problem today is that there's no more places "over the next hill" to be settled. Today, groups who have no desire to live together are forced together against their will. This can only lead to strife and trouble. What the human species needs is a new frontier, an ever expanding frontier without end. All we have to do to find this vast wilderness is to simply look up and reach for the stars.
