Viewing the past.

If we could discover a path that matter makes as it moves through space, and we can see this at the atomic level, we should be able to follow the path of each atom. We would need to tag all atoms, then follow their path back as they trail behind the Earth forward motion. We could mark the positions of these atoms at any given point in time, and build a picture of the past. With the right technology, we could have a true color image of the past. Perhaps with some Star Trek Holodeck type technology we could even recreate historical events that are 100% accurate.

With the right technology, we could even recreate the past on the global scale. We would need an Earth like planet where we could add and remove atoms to make it identical to the Earth’s.
