Re: Do we inhabit a smaller universe?
<Jean-Pierre Luminet has written a book "The wrapped around Universe" where he explains it is possible the Universe is much smaller than we think. He bases this theory on the sighting of gravitational lenses that completely distord what we see. Galaxies are multiplied several times by those mirrors. Why not imagine some parts of the universe we see are not other worlds but the reflection of other ones we see much closer.
