Hi Raoul,

We had rain, so I was out of luck. I have my telescope cleaned, tuned and ready but we have had clouds every day for the month of December so far here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Not even a chance to observe naked eye ISS passages through the scattered clouds. Neverless we will have some more chances in 2002 to observe the Moon occulting Saturn. I only know the dates and haven't checked the areas of the world that will be able to see the occults.

Moon occults Saturn dates for 2002
Jan 24, Feb 21, Mar 20, Apr.16

Also, on Jan 26 and Feb 23 the Moon will occult Jupiter, again don't know where you will be able to observe.

If you have any info on the above dates please let me know.

Thanks for the pics
