I must need a better dictionary
A quote from your source is:
- "The star, a G-star formally identified as HR 7672, is one to three billion years old, making it slightly younger than the Sun."
Also from:
http://www.cnn.com/2002/TECH/space/01/07/brown.dwarf/index.html
- "Its parent star is roughly 2 billion years old, slightly younger than our sun."
Hmmmm, when does around 50% of the age of our star become "slightly"?
English comprehension aside, it's an amazing discovery for a ground-based observatory.
