There is apparently also a very small planet orbiting the Earth about 25,000 miles out that can only be seen with a special filter mounted on the telescope. Really. There's this little old guy who lives a couple of hours south of here in Pacific Grove near Monterey who has a filter like this, and I expect to hear him on the Art Bell show any day now... ;)

Seriously, Art Bell is amusing, and the requirements of his job necessarily include a level of credulity (either real or faked) that is almost astronomical*. However, any attempt to connect the stuff on his show with reality will only give you a headache, or something worse.
