Fortunately, since our space systems now operate at earth-normal pressure (14.7 psi), this rapid change of pressure on reentry would no longer be a serious problem for congested astronauts. However, since EVAs still involve going to a lower-pressure environment, this would still be an issue with getting into a spacesuit.
