It’s good to see any advancement in engine design to improve reliability, serviceability, ISP and lower cost to build.
But I’ve been wondering:
I’ve read all about why the “aero-spike” engine concept is so wonderful. I thought it supposedly had all kinds of advantages over a conventional bell type. Does anyone know if any further development is moving forward with it or did that idea die with Venture Star?
