Re: The Moonwalkers

I attended a ceremony with all 3 Apollo 11 crewmen back in 1969. They came back to Huntsville as part of their worldwide post-flight tour.

Charles Duke was a featured speaker at my Officer Training School class back in 1985. He's a good speaker.

Irwin lived here in Colorado Springs for years but I never had the opportunity to meet him or listen to him speak. He was very active in his search for Noah's Arc at the time.

Between illness and accidents, we're going to run out of moonwalkers in the not too distant future. Shepard, Conrad, and Irwin are already gone, leaving only 9 of them. Aldrin is 72 and most of the others are pretty close to the same age. Like the WWII generation, time will start running out on the others before long.
