Re: and his successors!

This eve, the weather was cristal clear, so, we had to go to the field to observe.
I arrived just on time to see the Moon set, aiming it with the webcam, a friend's Celestron G8.
However, it was really very windy (and cold).
At least, I felt like we were a bunch of (spacesuited) astronauts with our equipment, admiring the fantastic sky!!!
But the big frustration is: it's impossible to look through an eyepiece with glasses on; so I have to put them somewhere. And happened what I feared might happen: I stored the PC back in the car, forgetting the glasses were on the case and the glasses fell on the mud and one of the lenses got off ......Luckily, nothing broke!
Then later, I was searching for the eyepiece entry cap (it took a while, but it was found). Then the wire to wrap the cable was also lost but found. For the first time, I used both the ETX90 and the PC linked to the car's battery!
I tell you, it's all dark (of course) and it's really hard to find things back! But so far, I haven't lost anything!
You should have a look at Jupiter, now! Even with binoculars, Jupiter is amid a swarm of moons and stars all around it..Great show!
